Holiday Boat Parade & Sunset Cruise

The holiday boat parade and sunset cruise is an activity that you won’t want to miss. You’ll take a ride on the double-decker boat so everyone can have an amazing view, regardless of where you’re sitting or standing. 

The sunset cruise leaves from Tin City Docks and takes you through Naples Bay and into Port Royal canals so you can see some of the most luxurious homes in Naples. After you take a little tour of Naples homes, you’ll head back out to the Gulf of Mexico to watch the sunset from the boat. Once the sun falls below the horizon, the MIACC Holiday Boat Parade starts. 

The holiday boat parade has boat captains from all around Naples who have decorated their boats with holiday lights and other decorations that put you in the holiday spirit. The boats drive around, allowing you the best view of the boat parade, and you get to listen to Christmas music to set the tone. 

Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Tour

Is there anything that puts you in the holiday spirit more than Christmas music? Mannheim Steamroller is an excellent musical ensemble that makes a tour around the holidays, performing all the classic holiday songs you know and love. 

Not only does their performance include some fantastic music, but they also have visual effects and lights that complement the music they’re playing. It’s one of the best holiday events that’s coming to Naples over the holidays, but you’ll need to secure your ticket before they’re sold out. 

Whether you want to attend the performance alone or share it with the other people who are staying with you in Naples, the music they perform will give you a new perspective on Christmas music and bring a smile to your face. It’s the perfect event to have a little bit of a nicer evening out and about instead of doing something more casual.

Candlelight Christmas Carols at Cambier Park

If you don’t want to see Mannheim Steamroller, or you do want another fun musical event to attend, the Candlelight Christmas Carols at Cambier Park is another excellent event. It’s a little more casual and features classic holiday carolers singing the best holiday songs. 

This is an annual event that brings together people from all over Naples, locals, and those staying there for the holidays. The event is outside in the beautiful Florida weather. The park is beautifully decorated for the holidays, and you’ll have the chance to get food from local food trucks, refreshments, beer, and wine before the caroling starts. 

The combination of caroling, Christmas songs, and festive decorations will get you into the holiday spirit in no time once you arrive at the park. The caroling isn’t traditional in the sense that you walk around to different homes and businesses, but it’s on the stage within the park. They even put several Christmas trees on the stage as decoration behind the carolers. 

Naples Christmas Glow Run 5K

Naples hosts a great 5K that is run to run, but also watch! The Christmas Glow Run 5K is a race that people of all ages can participate in, but it is held in the evening so all the lights can glow, and you can wear glow sticks as you run the path. Even if you’re not a runner, you can walk the course or watch all the runners make their way from start to finish. 

The race sponsors do everything they can to make the 5K festive. Besides wearing and passing out glow sticks, they have Christmas tree-like decorations lining the path, Christmas lights along the way, decorated Christmas characters, and even fake snow falling at specific parts of the course. 

Whether you want to cheer the runners on or take on the 5K with your loved ones, you get to listen to Christmas music, see fun holiday lights, and get hyped up for the holidays. The race is located in Sugden Regional Park, which isn’t too far from many of our excellent Naples rental properties. 

Fifth Avenue South Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting

Naples, Florida, Christmas is nothing without their annual Fifth Avenue South Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting. Christmas on Third is the most festive area of Naples, starting from Thanksgiving and through New Year’s. This area of the city essentially turns into the North Pole! With Santa, festive lighting, and other fun holiday activities, it needs to be on your list of things to do in Naples Florida. 

The Christmas walk is simply walking through Fifth Avenue, taking in all the holiday sights. Arguably, the main attraction on Third is the massive Christmas tree. During this event, they host an official tree lighting ceremony that will officially ring in the holiday spirit. All businesses and vendors in the area decorate their storefronts and windows with holiday characters and decor too. 

You’ll get to walk through the area and try treats from local vendors. Many of the restaurants and shops here are open for extended hours to accommodate the event and ensure everyone can eat and drink what they want.
