Baker Museum

The Baker Museum is a world-class Naples fine art museum located in the heart of the city. As a part of the Artis—Naples campus, the Baker Museum is just one of the many cultural gems that can be found in this vibrant community.

Founded in 2001, the Baker Museum is named in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Baker, avid supporters of the arts in Naples. The museum is housed in a modern, state-of-the-art building designed by renowned architect Kohn Pedersen Fox. The museum’s collection includes a wide range of works, from modern and contemporary art to European and American paintings to decorative arts. You’ll find pieces by renowned artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and Claude Monet, as well as contemporary works by artists such as Jenny Holzer and Cindy Sherman.

In addition to its permanent collection, the Baker Museum also hosts temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year, giving you even more opportunities to experience the vast world of art. Often, there will be rotating exhibition lectures, giving you the extraordinary opportunity to hear the artists themselves discuss their work firsthand.

Another notable event the museum offers is its monthly “Art After Hours” event, in which the museum provides free admission and the chance to enjoy live music from local musicians and provides food and beverages while visitors appreciate the fine art around them.
